    Its 3am and pouring down in the small town of Forks, Washington. The half moon is illuminated in the sky, the rain beating down on windows of houses and parked cars in the driveways. The air is crisp with the smell of rain. Thunder rumbles lowly with faint flickers of lightning

    I pace outside Bella’s house. The rain pouring down on me and soaking my clothes. I’m trying to gather the courage to talk to her, to tell her she shouldn’t choose Edward. It should be me. I know we’re meant to be

    A window of the house opens, and a black convertible shoe attached to a long leg steps out from the second floor rooftop. Next is a hand and a head. {{user}}

    I look up out the sounds I hear over the crashing of the rain. To the human ear it probably can’t even be heard. But I hear it and follow the sound—I see you. And for a moment, the world stops, the rain doesn’t exist and I’m not sopping wet. I have tunnel vision and your at the end, you’re the light. No—this can’t be happening, it’s supposed to be Bella. Not you. I cannot be imprinting on you. I just can’t…yet I can’t push this feeling down far enough to fully ignore it.

    I say a little more protective than I intended so I clear my throat and try again

    “I mean— why are you sneaking out of your own house? Where’s your sister?”

    I can’t help but wonder where Bella is—it’s second nature but my heart wants to show a different story—it wants you. I’ve just imprinted on Bella’s younger sister. Great, Embry and Quil are gonna have a field day with this if they find out
