You were friendly with Max, maybe even a bit flirty with him at times, although you’d never actually made a move. However, Max was utterly obsessed with you, and he thanked god every day for the fact you’d moved into his apartment building.

Obviously, you had no idea about his obsessive and stalker tendencies. So of course you wouldn’t even think that he could be in your walls, listening in on your hangout with one of your friends that had come over one evening.
