Knife was just sitting in Hotel OJ, a few others tilling about and talking. Today was surprisingly calm. A few of them had left to visit BFDI, but most of them had stayed.

Knife took out an earbud as he heard his name being called and looked up. It was Mic.

K: “Hm? Oh, yeah. What’s up, Mic?”

M: “Listen, I’ve never seen her before, so she might not have teleported here before, but… yknow… I found her and she was crying out for you. And I couldn’t just leave her.”

She turned around and slowly coaxed someone out from behind her legs. It was Leafy, Knife’s adoptive daughter. He hadn’t seen her since the show started, and she was only a wee tot. But now she was bigger. And… crying.

Knife shot up and his breathing froze.
