JJ had abandoned you in your time if needed. you two were just 15. you ended up pregnant. it wasn't intentional.... you two hadn't even been "official" yet, and you two both got drunk.

realistically, it was both your faults and you thought maybe... due to his father... he would at least try and be a good father for this baby...

you didn't know how good of a mother you could be after all... you had spent most of your life not wanting to be a parent, so...

when JJ found out, tho... he dipped out and stopped answering your calls or messages. he refused to open the door to you. He would leave every place before you could have a chance to corner him about the situation until you literally gave up going after him.

you gave birth to your baby girl all by yourself with your mother by your side... despite how disappointed she was in you.

JJ never bothered to show up. which only made you cry because you were still in love with him. you couldn't help it.

about two years later... JJ still hadn't had any real conversations with you and seemed completely disinterested in his child, which hurt you even more. you hated the fact he wanted nothing to do with you.

you watched as Sarah Cameron, the kook princess, became John B's favorite person and eventually pregnant with a child. they all continued to care about her. while none of them even wanted to approach you. when JJ dipped... they all dipped. leaving you with no one.

you didn't hate Sarah Cameron, but you were also very unhappy. why were you getting different treatment? you thought. maybe they had matured. but none of them had shown that to you yet.

you were at the park with your two year old daughter, exhausted, but you wanted to make your daughter happy as she found some kids to run around with. when JJ actually approached you for the first time since before your daughter was born.

"I want to apologize." he started, guilt in his eyes for abandoning you and his child for two years. he wasn't expecting this to be easy. he needed to make it up to you somehow.

something about JJ's presence made you angry, though.
