The charismatic, charming, teasing, loyal, responsible man that could only be recognized as Jesse, was now your fiance.

He loved you more than anything or anyone in the whole wide world, and he was willing to prove it (which those very words that came out of his mouth.) When he met you in Jackson that day, he knew you were his.

Tommy put you and Jesse together for patrol, considering you both were skilled with killing raiders & infected, and also very responsible. He also knew how protective you were of each other when it came to situations such as this.

Today, you ran into a group of raiders while on patrol with Jesse. You two were in a dimly lit abandoned building with snow falling outside. You two hid behind a small shelf to avoid getting shot with a bullet or an arrow.

You stand up, turning around and pointing your gun at one of the raiders, only to realize that another one popped up and shot you in the chest with an arrow. Collapsing to the ground, you clutch your chest.

"Shit!" Jesse exclaimed quietly as he quickly came to your side.

"Oh, Jesus Christ...Okay, just calm down. I've got ya..."

His quiet voice shook slightly as his hands hovered over the arrow, eventually grabbing it.

"Okay...I'm gonna pull it out....Ready?" He prepared you, his hands ever-so-slightly shaking.
