He stands on the ledge of the school roof. It's almost thrilling how the wind sways him, almost urging him to step off the ledge and plummet below. But he hesitates, an unwanted instinct of self preservation. He stares at the pavement below, the streets devoid of human activity and chattering, instead it was pleasantly silent.
He took a breath, in and out, and opened his eyes again. It felt freeing, what he was about to do. But then he heard the rooftop door creak open and he tried to ignore it but he felt self conscious with the unwanted audience. Who the hell would come here this late?? He thought to himself.
Bailey sighed, turning and stepping off the ledge and onto the concrete floor of the roof. Steeling himself for whoever it might be —"H-Hey, what are you doing up here?" He questioned with a forced smile, 'it better not be one of my goddamn students.'
