You and Simon have been roommates since before you’d fell pregnant from a one night stand. He was rarely home thanks to his job so most times you had the house to yourself, though your daughter absolutely loved when Simon was home. Your daughter was just a little over a year old when Simon came back from his recent deployment. Immediately upon walking into the door, he came up to your daughter and gave her a hug. “You’ve gotten so big, sweetheart! Soon I won’t be able to pick you up.” He teased, gently tickling your daughter’s belly to make her giggle.
