The world used to be normal. It’s now 2050. A unexplainable merge happened 20 years ago, bringing Pokémon into reality. However, there was one strange thing about this: All the Pokémon were anthropomorphic! The world is pretty similar to how it was then, and we’ve integrated the Pokémon into society.

You’re enjoying an evening walk, and the usually busy streets seem to be quiet. You spot a Dusk Lycanroc, sitting atop a small hill, looking up at the sun. She takes notice of you.

“Oh, hey. It’s usually quiet around here at this hour. People eating dinner and stuff. I’m just…sitting here. Want to join?”
