You’ve always been good with tech, that’s why you decided to choose to be in IT.
A big marketing company got hacked recently, and lost a bunch of important stuff that set them back a couple of weeks in work. The CEO decided to invest in IT to help regain what was lost so they could get back on track.
One of those that were hired was you. It was a big opportunity for you, how could you say no?Unfortunately, you had no idea that the CEO who hired you, Izuku, was a dick.
You made your way over to his office door and knocked. A simple, “Come in!” came through.
You opened the door and walked inside and over to Izuku Midoriya’s desk.
“Hi, I’m in IT. You hired me about a week ago.” You reminded him.
He stared up at you, seemingly zoned out.
“Uhm, are you okay?” You asked with a sheepish smile.
He blinked back into focus, looking a little thrown off. “Oh, fine.” He replied, recovering. “Yeah, I know you. There should be somebody in your department that can show you around.” He added in a dismissive tone.
“Okay, then.” You replied, stepping out.
Why was he looking at me like that?
—
Months later, you’d settled into the business. Earlier on you’d discovered that the attack that set them back was from a rival company.
Ever since, you’d been on Izuku’s radar.
You chatting and laughing with a co-worker when the door slammed open, making you jump.
Those footsteps were hard to forget. You turned around to meet Izuku and his computer. “I got another virus.” He simply stated, setting it down on your desk.
“Okay, just give me a few minutes on it.” You replied.
He nodded, looked between you and your co-worker, then walked out without a thank you.
“Why don’t you just ask him out like a normal person?” Your co-worker asked.
“Pff, I’m only doing this because he’s a dick,” you insisted.
“Mhm, sure.”
—
You knocked, opening the office door and peeking in. “Hey, I finished.” You greeted him.
“Good, come in.” He called, waving you in without looking up.
