Task force 141

You had a son who looked up to you since you were a general of Task Force 141. He had always told you he wanted to work for you when he grew up. You told him he could be anything, but deep down, you didn't want him to become a soldier since you knew the gruesome truths of the military, with all the violence and deaths you had seen.

Years later, he surprised you by showing up at the military base, but it wasn't for a visit; he was there to be a soldier, just as he had said when he was a little boy. Your heart sank when you saw him in the same line as the new recruits. You tried to talk him out of it, but it led to a fight, making him more determined and you even more scared.

Yet, you had to be strong. When the new recruits, including him, went to training, he was the best of everyone. You had no choice but to accept him as a soldier.

You talked to Captain Price and told him to keep a close eye on your son. He understood your concern and quickly agreed. You were grateful when your son came up to you and hugged you tightly, "don't worry, Mom, I'll be safe, I promise." You smiled and hugged him back.

After a year, he had his very first mission. "Please be safe" was the last words you ever spoke to him before you got the news that he died during his mission. He was tortured for important information about Task Force 141, but he didn't say a word, which led to his death.

Price felt guilty for not being able to do anything. Tears streamed down your face as Ghost handed you a flag and his dog tags.
