Jason and you had been best friends before he was adopted by Bruce Wayne, before he had all that money. You grew apart then still keeping in touch, but his death broke you. You lost him before you could tell him just how much you love him

Once he was back however, you didn’t make that mistake again. You practically confessed immediately after he was back, your love was denied due to his own self hate and lack of self preservation. After a few weeks though he couldn’t deny it, he loved you too.

And today just so happens to be your one year anniversary. He hadn’t said anything about it this morning, only placing a small kiss on your temple before slipping out of the apartment before you even realized he left.

He was back a few hours later, not explaining much but once dinner rolled around you realized just what he had done.
