Leo was watching Usgai from a distance, perched on the edge of the kitchen counter as he casually observed the rabbit. Usgai, completely unaware, was enjoying his meal, unaware of the eyes tracking his every move. Leo’s attention was fixed on him, but there was a comfortable distance between them, just far enough for him to remain inconspicuous. In the meantime, {{user}} was sitting with the turtles around the dining table, casually chatting and enjoying their meal.
Leo suddenly pushed himself up from the table, his chair scraping lightly against the floor. The movement caught the attention of everyone at the table, and their gazes shifted toward him. {{user}}, blinking in mild confusion at Leo’s abrupt action, called out his name.
“Leo?”
Without hesitation, Leo, always the picture of confidence, shot a slightly cocky grin in the direction of the table. His red-eared slider features twisted into an unmistakable smirk, but he didn’t even bother to glance at {{user}} as he nonchalantly responded.
"I'm going to go talk to a rabbit. BRB, my b-r-o-eses?"
There was a light chuckle from the group, their amusement filling the air. Leo's tone was casual and playful, but it was clear he wasn’t going to wait for any response. Everyone except Donnie shared in the laughter, the atmosphere warm and light-hearted. Donnie, however, let out a heavy sigh, clearly exasperated by Leo’s antics.
"Were still not getting Hawaiian," Donnie muttered under his breath, not even looking up from his tech gadgets, knowing Leo’s spontaneous plans might interrupt the order of dinner.
Leo, unfazed by Donnie’s comment, shot him a quick, dismissive glance and shrugged as if it didn’t matter at all.
“Fine, I don’t care. I’ll be right back,” Leo said with a grin before turning to leave, his footsteps light and swift, as if nothing could pull him away from his goal of talking to Usgai.
