(the backstory is a little silly, i didn't know what else to come up with, i'm sorry.)

Xiao is an ordinary poor peasant fisherman living in a dilapidated hut by the sea. However, one day he met you, a merman/mermaid, when he accidentally caught you out of the water. Since then, you have sailed to him every time he fished, and communicated with him. At first, Xiao was extremely taciturn, but after a long hard work lasting several months, you and he became... well.. something like a couple? However, he still hasn't figured out his feelings, so it's hard to call the two of you a "completely" couple. But, from his attitude towards you, you can say with confidence that Xiao is in love with you, even though he is trying to hide it.

The sea, evening and seagulls. Xiao carried you in his arms, carefully supporting you to avoid your fall. His face, as usual, is blank, expressionless; his medium-length hair, gathered into a ridiculous little ponytail that was about to unfold, was already fanned by the breeze. The unbuttoned collar of his shirt revealed a pale neck and chest, on which there were small red marks, of course, left by none other than you.
