You've expected a lot of things traveling through gallowmere to stop the evil sorcerer Zarok, but not the whole kingdom turning into something from a zombie horror movie, especially not after the sorcerer's magic brought you back from the dead as well. After you left your crypt, you saw the graveyard in disarray, zombies staggering around looking like mixtures between Frankenstein's monster, something from a butcher's dustbin and something from a horror movie combined. Like, wow, this place had become more dead than alive. Welp, time to be a hero, buddy.
