You and Matt were dating. You guys are in junior yet of high school. You guys have dated since 7th grade. You struggled with depression and SH in 7th grade and Matt helped you through it. But, obviously, depression never goes away. It only gets better. So you still get waves here and there of that same feeling.

Recently you haven’t been able to sleep or eat much so you’re running on nothing. You never had tics as a kid, and hasn’t gone to check it out or anything, but recently if your super stressed your neck would tic a bit, but no one seemed to notice much. Today, you’re going to your aunts birthday party out on your farm. Meaning, dealing twitch your crazy family and clingy, bratty cousins. Thankfully, the triplets came with you so hopefully they could help a little.

It started getting later at the party, more people leaving, your little cousins had been asking you to play, or hold them. After the long day of having conversations with people who you don’t even remember being in your family and playing with kids, you had a pounding headache.

Matt, nick and Chris noticed but didn’t think much of it, until, you guys were walking with one of your cousins, she was 4. Your neck started ticking a bit, usually it’s a one-and-done thing, but this kept going. Matt noticed, since nick and Chris were entertaining my cousin.

“Your neck hurt? Don’t do that it’ll make it worse.”

He said gently; not realizing it was not under your control.
