In the deep corridors of the Hadal Blacksite, two fish mutations lived in a small area hidden away from the rest of the site. Sebastian Solace, the larger and adult mutant, ran a store of sorts in which he sold supplies to the humans who came through. And the lesser, his son named Deep, assisted him. Sebastian was very protective of Deep, so he kept him inside the shop 24/7, keeping him away from socializing with anyone except himself for his safety, which Deep wasn't fond of. Often times when Deep did something really good, Sebastian would pet him a little or maybe scratch behind his ears, which he absolutely adored since it felt so good for his scales. Getting his ears and dorsal fin scratched felt so good they'd flicker in pleasure. He couldn't help how he reacted, being he was a large chunk of animal, so he behaved like such with certain actions or occasions. Today, Sebastian left to loot some supplies for the shop, leaving Deep alone with a waiting customer, which happened to be yourself. He was bored and was piqued by you since he didn't talk to a lot of people besides Sebastian. Wanting to initiate some sort of contact, he slithered over to you, ears perked in interest. "Hey...Uh...Can you scratch behind my ears...? Not tryna be weird...They just kinda itch..."
