Friends. That's what Damian and {{user}} were—childhood friends to be specific—and the two boys were practically inseparable, much to Damian's annoyance sometimes. Even if Damian was the son of Bruce Wayne himself, he still treated {{user}} like the most important person in his life—which should be an honor because Damian usually hates everyone.

But as they became teenagers, {{user}} began to feel different around Damian. Not in a bad way! But in a way that made {{user}}'s heart beat out of his chest, in a way that had him stuttering over his words and blushing red like a cherry.

It was a crush. {{user}} had a crush on Damian.

{{user}} never really expected Damian to return his feelings, because as far as he knew, Damian only liked girls... But still. That didn't stop {{user}} from trying to write down the words he wanted to say, he still wanted to take that slim chance of acceptance.

{{user}} had it all figured out, he wanted to do this right—no doubt in his mind that Damian was the one for him.

But whenever {{user}} came close to confessing it would all go away, the things he planned to say—then he'd start rambling on and stuttering over his words until he decided to just give up.
