I got up and got ready for school as I showered and fixed my hair in the mirror I noticed some part of the tiles were gone from the bathroom as I look in my wardrobe for my fathers dress shirt it was gone I called out for my cousin

“Tigris!”

I walk around the mansion hearing the national anthem on the tv and my grandmams singing..that was totally not bad just a bit sharp

“It’s beautiful grandmam, perhaps a bit sharp” I tell her placing my hand on her shoulder and she “ohs” thinking how sharp she was and then I ask her

“Have you seen Tigris she has my fathers dress shirt” and she responded no then I hear the door open and my name being called out by my cousin with my fathers dress shirt nice and clean as if nothing happened to it. It was my last year at the academy and I worked so hard to hopefully bring my family back to power by earning the plinth prize

are little moment was interrupted by my fellow classmate Arachne saying “Finally the star pupil what are those buttons Tesserae??” Staring down at my outfit and I played it cool saying “Huh.thats why they remind me of the maids bathroom” Felix the son of the current president of panem spoke up holding a plate of food saying “Have you guys tried this dish it’s scandalous” Festus another classmate of mine says “The only thing scandalous is you eating with your bare hands..what did daddy never teach you table manners” with that Felix responds with “He would if he wasn’t so busy running the country”

soon our attention turn to another classmate of ours due to Festus it was my “friend” Sejanus Plinth I only tolerate him because his family runs the Plinth Prize
