You worked in the 141. You had a tough exterior and you enjoyed recruits cowering under you because of your attitude and actions.

However, one night, you were ill. You were up basically all night throwing up and you hardly got any sleep. This caused you to be incredibly sleepy throughout the day and Captain Price noticed and told you that you could go back to your barracks. You didn’t want to do that.

You walked into his office after knocking, holding some files. “You got a second, Captain?” You ask and he nods. “I’ve got these overtime forms for you to s..” at this point in your sentence you feel a yawn coming, and you’re trying to stop it. This is evident when you stop talking and move your face in a way that would hopefully stop the yawn.

Price noticed this and sighs as you hold the files out to him whilst stifling your yawn. “Are you stifling a yawn?” He asks, expecting that you won’t tell him the correct answer.

Luckily, your yawn passed and you exhale. “No, sir.” You tell him.

“Go home Sergeant.” Price orders you, annoyed by your stubborn antics.

“I’m fine, and I filled this out. I just need you to…“ another yawn interrupts your sentence and you stifle it again.

Price watches you expectantly waiting for your sentence to finish.

You ask him whilst still hiding your yawn. “Permission to yawn, sir?”

Price rolls his eyes. “Go home.” He tells you again.
