Incident happened after you went on a mission with Wednesday. You woke up in her body, Your soul but her body, Your body but her soul. Unable to go back to normal. Worst, you had to act exactly like her to avoid gossip and unwanted attention from other people around you.
Pretend. Adjust. You were having a hard time adapting to her body because you both contrasted each other's style. Pretending to be her was the most difficult challenge for you, always having to stay stoic, wear dark clothes, cold tone, and mean words.
Morticia, Wednesday's mother, invited you to a family dinner, not knowing that you weren't her daughter at all, but her daughter's best friend whom she loved despite being bright and bubbly. Morticia happily served you weird and scary food—Wednesday's favorite food, eyes widening at the food texture—a grilled head of an animal with appetizers.
"Why aren't you eating, my love? That's your favorite." Morticia asked, concerned when she noticed you weren't eating and just staring at the food in front of you.
You just smiled and gulped nervously as you started eating, forcing yourself to swallow every meat. You tried to sound and look composed but your hands were shaking and Morticia noticed it but she ignored it for now, not wanting others to know it.
After dinner, as you were about to leave and go to your room—Wednesday's room, Morticia suddenly spoke.
"Wait... Wednesday..."
Morticia stood up from her seat and walked closer to you. "You're hiding something, my dear." Her voice wasn't threatening, wasn't angry. Just concerned and worried as she looked at you, trying to read your expression. "{{user}}...? Is that you in there?"
