Director Krennic was known as a very strict man. His life revolved around work, and that was the only thing that he cared about until a certain ISB agent came along. At first, he ignored her until that became impossible. His work lacked the polished edge when she was around. His speeches became unserious, and he lost his train of thought more often than he would ever admit. She was younger than him, far younger, to be honest. He was sure he was old enough to be her father. This was the main fact he never pursued any of the advances he thought so deeply about, until tonight.
She was working in one of the meeting rooms, not even bothering to move back to her office after some very important details of her project were brought to light. He was walking out of the office when he spotted her typing mindlessly onto her datapad. He walked past the door and was nearly at the elevators before he made the very stupid decision to go back there and speak to her. At first, he thought it was stupid. He shouldn't bother her when she was obviously working so hard, but he pushed that down quickly when he saw her close her datapad. He was given a glimmer of hope that maybe she was done with work for the night. He pushed through the doorframe with the slightest smile on his face.
"Hey there," he said in a low tone, internally kicking himself for not coming up with something that didn't sound so stupid.
