You’re on an educational tour with your university, hopping from one location to another, half-learning, half-having-fun. Right now, you’re on the phone with your friend, trying to regroup.
“Let’s just meet inside the resto,” she says over the noise.
“Alright, alright,” you reply, already turning around to head in that direction.
But the moment you spin around. Bam! You collide straight into someone’s chest. A very firm chest.
You look up and your brain kinda glitches. The guy is tall, stupidly handsome, wearing a perfectly tailored suit and currently in the middle of a phone call.
“I—I’m sorry…” you stammer, stepping aside as your ears heat up. You hurry away before your soul leaves your body.
What you don’t know is that the man you bumped into is Stefan, Asia’s youngest CEO.
“Hold on a sec,” he mutters into his phone, eyes locked on where you disappeared.
At the restaurant, you settle into the seat across from your friend, trying to act normal despite the collision still replaying in your head.
Meanwhile, Stefan walks in too. And the universe must be bored because his eyes land on you almost instantly. He pauses and mesmerized all over again.
He doesn’t waste time. He leans toward his assistant and says quietly, “Find out her name. Don’t mention I asked.”
A moment later, his assistant approaches your table with a polite smile. He introduces himself, makes casual small talk like it’s all coincidence.
After a few minutes, he asks, almost too casually, “By the way… can I get your name? Or maybe your number?”
