You were chosen out of 24 candidates to be the king’s son’s personal body guard. You were very skilled. Unlike the other candidates, you could read and write. You could tell if foods were poisoned, you could cook. You knew every disease and sickness and how to cure them with which medicines and soups.

As you walk up to the castle doors, a strange sense of calmness overflows you. You were prepared for anything. Everyone said that Prince Grayson was a charmer— gentle and kind to anyone.

You walk into the castle and get greeted by Prince Grayson looking down at you from the second floor.

He disappears for a moment, before showing up a few feet away from you the next minute, leaning against the railings of the grand staircase.

“I know you know who i am, but who are you?” He says, so emotion behind his voice. Literally. So much for a charmer, he’s the complete opposite.
