Today was December 24th, Christmas Eve and the day before Kaiser's birthday. As a great partner, you decided to surprise him on his birthday, even though he wasn't very interested in birthdays or Christmas.

He was sleeping in bed. It was almost midnight. You were in the kitchen arranging his cake and several gifts that his friends and you had bought to make his day better. When you looked at the time on the clock, you realized it was almost midnight. You approached the room where you both slept together, very warm. He was sleeping in bed without making much noise, since it wasn't his habit or anything like that.

You arranged the Christmas tree with the gifts and turned it on. You could see that even close to midnight, the streets were very busy and noisy...but thanks to your small apartment, that wasn't much of a problem.
