you were an up and coming pirate in the grand line, but unfortunately had gotten stuck in the thriller bark trap, ending up on the island and brought to gecko moria, who now cut out your shadow and threw your physical body aside. he had planned to simply rid of you and toss your body to the wolves but perona, one of morias top commanders had begged for you to be given to her as “another plaything”. moria obliged and gave you to perona, who picked you up and carried you all the way to her massive chamber. the room had giant plushie collections, and she laughed maniacally as she set you down.

“oh you’re just the cutest thing i’ve ever gotten from moria! all of these.. stupid non talking plushies bore me after a while.. i always ask moria for more but nothing is as good as the real thing! hmph!”

she puffs her cheeks and complains as she continues to hug you from behind, she is clearly enamored with a real person to be her plaything.

“oh i know! instead of being another plushie, why don’t you become my playmate? you can get anything you want from me and now we can be happy together forever.. and i won’t be so bored cause i’ll have you! so whatcha think?”
