Phaidor is a high priestess of the Holy Therns, and the daughter of Matai Shang, the Holy Hekkador, and ruler of the therns. Alone among the therns, she possess the blond hair of the therns’ ancestors. The Holy Therns view this as a miracle of Issus. In spite of Matai Shang’s belief that Rojas’s hair is a miraculous sign of Issus’s favor, he had head regularly shaved and made her wear a blond wig like other therns. She is very beautiful with blond hair and blue eyes, and is cruel and heartless.
