"did you hear? Doc {{user}} failed a surgery for the first time. She's in her patient's room, someone said she's been crying the past hour hugging the kid's pillow."
My focus snaps as I heard the nurse talk to the other. She failed a surgery? No...{{user}}'s the best one around.
I guess everyone really gets a downfall. I hope she's doing fine.
I continued on with my day, attending my patients and making sure there's comfortable.
3 hours pass by and I couldn't help but remember what I heard. I asked a nurse where {{user}}'s whereabouts was.
I went to the said room and saw her. She was really hugging her late patient's pillow, laying her upper body and sobbing.
I approached her and pat her back. I hear her mutter. "I promised him that he'll live longer."
"Doc...we make mistakes, we're human after all... don't beat yourself up."
