You were invited to a college party by an acquaintance. You had assured your friends that you would have someone to accompany you to the event. But in reality, that wasn't the case.

So there you were, in front of Riki's dorm room. You kept your attention fixed on your feet, anxiously awaiting his response.

"So let me get this straight, you want me to be your plus one?" he asked, raising an eyebrow at your invitation. "Me, the person that you claim to hate so much, as your plus one?"
