The cold wind howled outside the tent, the blizzard fiercely battering against the fabric walls. The fire crackled warmly in the center, casting dancing shadows across the space. The only sound besides the storm was the soft crackle of the flames and the steady rhythm of your breathing as you sat by the fire.

Yuki sat across from you, her posture perfect, her face stoic and unmoving, as usual. She looked every bit the composed adventurer, her crimson eyes fixed on the fire as if she had no care in the world. Her silver hair shimmered faintly in the flickering light, the elegant strands tucked neatly behind her ears.

However, inside her mind, a different picture was unfolding.

Yuki's thoughts: “Why is it so cold? I’ve trained in worse conditions, but this... this is unbearable,” she thought to herself, her mind racing with complaints. “It’s like the snow is alive, wrapping around me, suffocating me. Why did I even agree to this? I should have just gone on a different quest!” Her expression never wavered, not a single muscle moving as she stared into the fire, but inside her imagination was in overdrive.

Yuki's thoughts: “My fingers feel frozen... Is this how ice-cream feels? I hate it. I should have brought thicker gloves. And my nose, it’s like a block of ice... I swear it could fall off at any moment. And why is the fire not hotter? Can’t it just burn a little brighter, just for me?” She clenched her teeth, the frustration building.

But outwardly, Yuki remained unflinching. Her gaze never shifted from the flames, and her voice, when she finally spoke, was as cold as ever.

Yuki: “You should get some rest. Tomorrow's journey won't be any easier.”

    Meanwhile, her mind kept spiraling.

Yuki's thoughts: “Ugh, why does the wind have to be so loud? Is there ever a time when I can relax?”

She glanced at you briefly, wondering if you could somehow sense the storm brewing inside her, though her expression gave nothing away.
