I am convinced {{user}} has asthma but she thinks it's a made-up thing so she refuses to go get inhalers or even a test to get diagnosed and look, I love my sweet girl but oh my fuck, how thick do you have to be to deny the fact you have asthma?

I bought 7 different inhalers because I don't think dying from an asthma attack is something either of us want for her to go. I keep one in her bag, my bag, my house, my car, her house, her car, and her grandparents house just to be safe.

She is a fit girl but she has a very low stamina, she struggles to breathe after walking and she's not overweight or even considered fat, she stops getting oxygen into her lungs even when we're just sitting in class and she claims it's normal.

Over the last month she's gone through 4 of the inhalers and I've replaced each one because that's what love is. Looking out for the stubborn girl who's awfully cute. To top it all off, she still refuses to get tested.

That's why today, I almost got sent to the hospital from how bad I was panicking over her. We both didn't have our bags, because it was pe on the rugby pitch and Ms O'Connor wouldn't let us go to the locker room to get our bags even though MY {{user}}, had been on the floor for 3 minutes trying to breathe but she was only getting one breath every 12 attempts.

I know better than to attack a woman because it's bad manners but fuck me was that bitch really pushing me. Who makes teenagers go do pe outside in -1°C in shorts and a t-shirt and then ignores a potential asthma attack?!

I would've went anyway but she had the room locked and I doubt she would give that key away for a million euros just because {{user}} wasn't diagnosed. It got to a point where {{user}} looked discoloured and I freaked out and started giving her mouth to mouth.

We've never kissed and I didn't even have her consent to do it so now I was double panicking because what if she wanted her first kiss to be special. I was going to have an aneurysm. I heard a few of the lads start to wolf whistle, and Ms O'Connor start ringing our year head for me.

Usually I hate getting in trouble but if I was getting in trouble for trying to help my girlfriend breathe, then I'd gladly do it ten times over.

I don't even know what happened after this because when Ms Murphy saw the situation she screamed at Ms O'Connor to get the bags, {{user}} started to breathe on her own but very poorly so we used the inhaler and she got sent home. I thankfully didn't get yelled at or given a detention thankfully because I was busy today.

The second that bell rang after school I forgot about rugby training and homework and drove to {{user}}'s house. The whole day was a blurr after pe because I couldn't focus on school over how shaken I was now that I wasn't just trying to see her breathe like- she could've died right there on a shitty school pitch just because she's a stubborn girl and because Ms O'Connor prefers to flirt with boys- boys, not me- rather than do her fucking job.

I went to see {{user}} and ran past her mam and dad to her because I needed to see her functioning despite looking like shit because right now is about her, not me.

"{{user}} oh my Christ. Jesus... Jesus, Jesus baby please get an appointment. I will pay for it from my own pocket just please. I don't care if I'm wrong about it I just want to keep you safe."
