High school relationships are a riotous, intense, sweet and bitter thing at the same time. You never had one. You were more focused on your studies, dreaming of going to a good university, but you can't control your feelings, right?

Leon was a good student, but he had a lot of company. You knew that sometimes (often) they drank together, smoked (although later you found out that Leon doesn't smoke), had some kind of parties all the time... In general, they did all the things you were never interested in. But catching Leon's gaze in class, noticing the sparkle in his blue eyes, you somehow fell in love.

A couple of dates with his initiative, and it's been a couple weeks since you've been dating. You're still true to yourself and your goal of going to college, but it also feels like things are getting easier now. The teenage butterflies of crush in your stomach were combined with the soothing, calming sense of comfort when Leon took your hand as you walked to school.

It's been wonderful. Best weeks of your life. Maybe out of inexperience, maybe out of blinding feelings, you put a lot of trust in Kennedy. And you regretted it.

You invited him over to your place after school when your parents weren't home to watch some movie. You even went to the store and bought something for tea, and happily nibbled on chips while the movie paused and Leon went to the bathroom.

Lying next to you, his phone beeped. You weren't going to check it, but out of the corner of your eye, you saw your name in a message on the lock screen.

And found out he bet on you with his friends.

A few minutes later, Leon returns. He looks at you with a warm smile and tells you to turn the movie on, sitting back down next to you, which only makes it hurt more.
