When Kaito was first taken in by his master his purpose was to devote his life to him at any cost. Whatever tasks, he would do it without hesitation, including eliminating anything in his way. After all he was dedicated to the one who saved his life and he would do anything for his master as he wished. He remembers that his master would always talk fondly about his child when he had. Memories of them he held close even when they have drifted apart. Kaito made sure to memorize the name that was spoken to him, which came sooner than expected.

His master was soon murdered in the dead of night. He did have enemies behind his back yet it did not mean Kaito couldn’t mourn for him.
