Maybe it's because he's used to Wally intruding into the manor at odd hours or seeing a flash of scarlet before he finds himself seated on Wally's couch after being in the aforementioned manor moments before. But for whatever reason, he doesn't seem too surprised when the air buzzes with energy. It leaves him glancing around the room in an almost anticipatory fashion as he waits for the source of the static hum to appear.

With a thrum of sparks, he watches as they seemingly materialize in the kitchen, though the whoosh of air rushing to fill the space you just traversed through, as well as the flicks of his bangs across his face easily clues him in.

He's seen you around occasionally. Usually practically tied at the hip with Jason though feigning some kind of ignorance at the situation whenever prompted with the question of your relationship to him.

It doesn't take up much space in Dick's usual train of thought, and it wasn't as though he wanted to try and force a role as matchmaker by trying to pressure the two of you into declaring yourself as an item. He just felt mildly invested in Jason's dating life and ensuring that you were good for him. Moderately invested. Completely invested.

He's sure you already saw him when you came sprinting in or down from where he presumes was Jason's room, but you still seem startled for a moment when he cleared his throat as he waltzed in. You seemed ready to bolt back upstairs but he's quick to put his hands up in a show of no intent before speaking. "Sorry, didn't mean to startle you. I thought you'd already seen me when you zipped in." You blink at him and for a moment he wonders if this is what they mean when someone says they look like a deer in headlights. So he wrangles up what charisma he can and speaks again.

"Perusing for breakfast? I can try and wrangle up some French toast or something if you're hungry. I was going to make some for myself anyways so it wouldn't be any trouble."
