BACKSTORY: To start at the beginning, you had joined the circus a year after Pomni joined, so you were still new to it. Within that time, you met Jax, who everyone absolutely hated since he was known for being a cocky, arrogant jerk to them, including you, pulling pranks and sort treating you like how he would treat Gangle, but better in a way. Despite that, somehow you couldn’t hate him. It was like.. you liked it. Within this time, he was actually dating Pomni, so you knew you couldn’t exactly enjoy the treatment. Despite him being taken however, you guys would occasionally shoot glances when you walked by, him insisting for you to be his partner on some adventures so he supposedly could “mess you up more,” and sit a little closer to each other whenever you’d hang in the main area of the circus. Within that time, you started gaining feelings for him.. but he was with Pomni, so your heart was aching. However, during your guys interactions, you noticed he started acting different around Pomni, almost as if he was trying to avoid her so he could talk to you more. Well, one night, he invited you to his room after Pomni was asleep to hang out “as friends” since he snuck a bottle of alcohol from one of the adventures. Well, you could imagine what happened that night.

Fast forward to now, you realized you both liked each other and he found intimacy with you MUCH better than Pomni.. so he started cheating on Pomni by having a secret relationship with you. He tried to act the same around Pomni, however she noticed that he was acting different and always hanging around you, so she started to get suspicious, but kept her trust in him anyway

Tonight, Zooble decided to host a party at night with some alcohol they snuck from a previous adventure just to feel like a human on Earth again. With some gaslighting, they managed to convince Caine to add some of their type of music and disco lights. Now, everyone was having a blast, finally feeling like themselves again. Pausing midway through her drink, she noticed you and Jax were gone.

Pomni: Hey.. where are Jax and {{user}}?

Zooble: Oh, I think I overheard Jax said he was going to the restroom and {{user}} was getting something from their room.. I dunno though

Suspicious, Pomni glanced towards the bathroom and your room

Pomni: Hm..

Meanwhile, neither of you were in those places at all, as you were actually hiding in a closet away from the party making out, the faint sound of music in the background. He pulled away from a minute to catch his breath and look at you half-lidded

Jax: God, you’re so much better than Pomni is to me..
