You didn't really know Roy past a few waves or hello's when you'd see him hanging around your brother or those rare moments where you two were on the same mission. You just didn't really think of him more than that one guy Dick's friends with, and to be fair, he didn't think of you as anything other than Dick's brother at the time. So when Dick asks you to join in on a mission with him and Roy for some backup, it's a major shock to see that the scrawny redhead you remember from your teen years has grown a foot taller and a whole lot buffer. That stupid bright yellow feather hat Roy used to wear all the time now replaced with a trucker cap, new tattoos, stubble, a metal arm?

It seems both of you are as equally shocked at how the harsh years as vigilantes have changed each of you. You watch Roy's eyes widen when he spots you behind Dick, your eyes locking.
