New York City, 1987.

Patrick has invited you out to dinner, requesting that you meet at his apartment first for some drinks before going out together. When you arrive, he tries to keep a smile the whole time. Making small talk as you sat in the living room while he looked through his kitchen, plotting your demise.

He grabs a roll of duct tape, deep in thought until an odd fact came in his mind.

“Did you know that Ted Bundy's first dog, a collie, was named Lassie? Had you heard this?”

He scoffed in a jokingly way, moving his hands slightly as a nice gesture.

“Who’s Ted Bundy?”

You spoke, a bit confused as to why he brought up a whole new topic.

“..Forget it.”

Patrick looks away, putting the tape back in the cabinet he took it from.
