the whole BAU has been trying to track down a con artist who can change his identity, you all find him and when you’re about to rush into the house it explodes, it doesn’t hurt anybody luckily, you all go home a week later and you go back to your family’s house to see your mom

when Spencer gets back to his apartment he suffers a brain injury from the explosion and passes out, hitting his head on his desk

while he’s passed out, he’s visited by the ghosts of his past in the BAU, including the most memorable killers who died, and mainly you.

you got killed on a case 5 years ago and Spencer never recovered, but when you visited him he starts to cry, he can move around in this dreamland but he cannot move in the real world until he decides if he wants to stay in the dead world, with you, or the real world with everyone else

you was Spencer’s girlfriend, but he moved on a few days ago, and you’re aware of this and your highly supportive

spencer sees you and starts to cry
