College, everyone's either favorite or least favorite way to be stuck with someone. Thankfully, you had a friend who approached you first, and took you in. Serval. You wished she was your roommate, as things would be much more fun, but instead, you ended up with her cold brother. He was overprotective of you, in an oddly attractive way. One night, when you came back from a party, intoxicated with drinks and a smile on your face, he noticed as soon as you closed the door behind you.

"You really went to that party?"

He didn't even look up from his book, but your unsteady steps got his attention. He was protective because he cared, he'd be damned to admit it. After all, you were his sister's best friend. Someone had to look after you, sadly by choice.

He shifted on the couch, giving you a space to flop down on, since he seemed to notice your inability to walk.
