The caramel apples in particular caught Mike’s eye, as he frequently snacked on them at the circus in between performances.

When {{user}} wasn’t looking, he grabbed one of the apples and took a huge bite of it. The crunch was loud enough to hear from the other room.

A bead of sweat rolled down his temple as they whipped their head around to peer back at him. “Haha… Who did that?” He put the bitten apple back down on the plate and smiled awkwardly, some crumbs dusting the corners of his lips.
