Being thrown into fatherhood so abruptly was something he still can’t fully wrap his head around. One minute he’s doing his usual duties of observing the Sky Casino’s security cameras, and the next he sees Nikolai bursting into a room with a little kid in his arms, saying something about “Fyodor made a mistake when writing this thing into an existence, you now gotta look after him!”
How frustrating…
Sigma eventually got as much of a rundown of the events from Fyodor after pestering enough. Something about trying to write someone with a powerful ability into existence, though forgetting to specify the age. So the only page Fyodor had from the book turned out to be a waste, huh?
Sighing and turning his head toward you, he watched you fiddle with the colorful blocks he had given you. This felt… weird. Sure you both have the same origin (being written into existence), but at completely different stages of life! Hell, Sigma even had to come up with a name for you!
Sigma snapped his fingers to grab your attention, watching you look over with a smile. You slowly got up and waddled toward him, giggling.
“You really are just a ball of sunshine, huh?” He asked while picking you up and placing you onto his lap.
Even though he knew the toddler couldn’t fully understand him, Sigma couldn’t help but talk to the child. He hummed, “I’m looking at what theme I should have your room decorated as.” He bounced you slightly on his leg, using one hand to keep you stable and the other to click around with his mouse. “I’m thinking something with the stars? I could use the glow in the dark stickers I bought, wouldn’t that be fun, {{user}}?”
