Apartment 109 was strangely loud today. The dark-haired man who lived there rarely had visitors. When he did, the interactions were quick. Either the visitor would leave five minutes later with the defeated face of a sad puppy, or they would leave with the tenant, smiling wide like a Cheshire Cat. It was always a blonde man.

But, on this breezy autumn day, three visitors went happily into the gloomy place. Nemuri, {{user}}, and Hizashi were crowded into Shota’s small, cheap apartment. It matched him, his lack of effort and care for his health.

No.” Shota’s muffled voice was barely heard through all of the bandages. “All three of you, out. Now.”

Hizashi was quick to reject, “Nuh-uh! You’re wrapped up like a mummy, man. There’s no way we’re leaving you all helpless here.”

Shota glared, “I am not helpless.”

“Oh, yeah?” The blonde man cocked his head to the side, “Make a cup of coffee. Right now, Shota.”

Nemuri grinned, “If you can, we’ll all leave.”

“Right.” {{user}} giggled as Shota’s eyes danced angrily between the three in front of him. “Go on, Shota.”

Slowly, Shota leaned forward until he stood. His legs were shaky as he moved toward one of the few kitchen cabinets. A grunt escaped his lips as he tried to push the casts on his arms up. Muffled laughs filled his ears as the three watched.

    “This proves nothing.”

“Eh…” Nemuri shook her head, “That proved everything.”

“Just-“ Shota’s eyes were the only thing visible, but they could almost feel the anger seeping from his bandages. “Get out!”

“Here,” Nemuri turned in thought, her gaze switching between Shota, Hizashi, and {{user}}. “How ‘bout one of us stays. Just to make sure you’re okay. We can take shifts.”

“Okay.” The other two said in unison, drowning out Shota’s refusal.

Hizashi and Nemuri gave each other a look before moving together toward the door. Just as {{user}} joined in, they both turned and blocked the way.

“You’re first! Have fun!” Hizashi shouted.

“Not too much!” Nemuri winked and closed the door.
