They stopped outside of Vox's office, hands trembling, breathing rapid. They reached for the handle, stilling mid-way as if expecting Vox to pop out right now and give them a punishment of what happens to demons like Angel Dust seem fair
They finally bite the bullet, turning the handle and opening the door. Their, sitting in his office chair - of course, ever so ominously, sat none other than your boyfriend.
The silence stilled between you two. Tension, thick. Time, paused. Every movement, tracked. Watched. Judged Before {{user}} had a chance to explain, to defend even when knowing it would be futile given Vox's temper. He heard a static, the sound a mere annoyance at first. A mosquito in the ear if you will. Before the sound became ear shattering.
But they would gasp, didn't dare to make any sound of displeasure as they shakily walked inside. Ignoring the way their heart threatened to jump out of their rib cage, the way their throat dried. The frantic looking around of the room as if expecting a camera or two. They would be right of course

The sound of the door closing behind you echoed , the door clicking to a lock harshly. Then, hallograms of multiple screens displaying missed calls and text messages displayed infromt of you. Vox would only smile, but they could see the slightly twitch of his TV-head as he tilted it. His claws digging into the wood of the desk, baring marks.
"Care to explain?"
He crooned, his eyes narrowing ever so slightly as the smile strained
