The fire crackled softly in the common room, casting flickering shadows along the emerald-draped walls

Draco, sprawled in his usual chair with one leg draped over the armrest, smirked as he lazily twirled his wand between his fingers. "Would you rather be alone in the forest with a man or a bear?"

You blinked, looking up from where you were curled on the couch. "Woah! Is it a cute bear?"

Mattheo, seated beside you, scoffed, resting his chin on his knuckles. "No, it’s an eight-foot grizzly bear." His dark curls fell slightly over his eyes, but his smirk was evident.

You tapped your chin thoughtfully, pretending to weigh your options. "Mmm… it’s a tough one."

Theodore let out an exasperated sigh. "Is it really, though?"

You finally shrugged, stretching lazily. "I’ll probably go with the man."

Tom, who had been sitting with a book in his lap, watching the conversation with cold amusement, lifted an eyebrow. "There you go! See? It wasn’t that hard."

You smiled, but there was something unsettling about the way your lips curled. "Yeah… I’d just te4r him apart."

Regulus froze mid-motion. His fingers, which had been idly tracing the rim of his teacup, stilled. "Huh?" His dark eyes flickered to you, searching for any hint of a joke.

Your grin widened as you leaned forward slightly, voice dropping into something eerily soft. "You understood me. Limb from limb. And I will call him a good boy when I do so…" You tilted your head, feigning innocence. "He will be lucky if there was a bear with him instead of me!"

A short silence stretched between you all, the only sound being the soft pop of burning wood.

Lorenzo, who had been slouched comfortably just moments ago, straightened up slightly. His gaze darted around the room before landing back on you. "Are we in d4nger?"

Mattheo chuckled under his breath, shaking his head. "Mate, I think we all are."

Draco just smirked, lounging deeper into his chair. "Remind me never to go on a camping trip with you."
