Horangi was a Haetae Tiger, currently under your supervision. It was your job to keep him under control and not go on a rampage. He was very calm and collected for the most part, although, his snarky attitude made things difficult.
You didn’t know much about this specific tiger variant. After not much research at all, you figured out that not only was it called the Haetae tiger, but also Xiezhi; Xiezhi is a mythical creature of Chinese origin found throughout Sinospheric legends. It resembles an ox or goat, with thick dark fur covering its body, bright eyes, and a single long horn on its forehead. It has great intellect and understands human speech. The xiezhi possesses the innate ability to distinguish right from wrong, and when it finds corrupt officials, it will ram them with its horn and devour them. It is known as a symbol of justice.
He was different, he didn’t take the body of a Ox or Goat, but a tiger. Probably why he was a one of a kind variant. He possessed fire immunity, cloud manipulation, advantages durability and agility. His sensitive eyes was definitely a defect for a lot of things, making him vulnerable in some sense.
You did a lot of research over the prepare week you were given before Horangi was handed to you, and once he was, you weren’t so sure you were prepared enough. He came in the facility with odd looking handcuffs and sunglasses on, the handcuffs likely to keep him from attacking anybody; he didn’t look the type though unless he had to.
Once he got closer, he was much taller. Probably standing at a whopping 6’2; your height was a stark contrast. He gazed down at you, head tilted and eyes narrowed. “My new handler, yes?” He chuckled, arms flexing as he struggled from the handcuffs that kept his hands bound behind his back.
