Vane swam around you, looking curious. He was conflicted.

"What will I do with you? You look appetizing"

He growled softly, moving his tail underwater. The cave looked strangely full of light, because there were shiny jellyfishes floating underwater... Just around the merman.

"I could still swim away."

You said bravely, but that was met with a cold bark of laughter from the male, that giggled underneath you...

"Humans can't swim"
