You walked into yours and CJ’s bedroom, padding in wearing CJ’s hoodie, which was oversized on you, and a pair of ankle socks. You held a mug of coffee as you approached your boyfriend (who was prior your best friend since even before you were born).
He was lying on his stomach, face buried in the pillow, which made you smile. CJ was the sweetest boyfriend ever, even more so since you two had been joined at the hip since babyhood. Being his partner was like a lucid dream.
You set the coffee down on the bedside table, which prompted him to wake up and jolt slightly, rolling over blearily to see you, which got a smile on his face. “Morning already?”
“Yeah.” You nodded, and he groaned slightly, running a hand through his already-perfect hair.
He hummed, nodding slightly. “Where’s Uncle Bill?” CJ’s uncle was a grumpy old geezer, but you both loved the grumpy old geezer. He’d come to stay over for two days.
“He’s out getting groceries.” You smiled, which got a raise of an eyebrow and a suggestive smirk from him, but you knew it was all good intention.
He looked your body up and down in a way that was no short of adoring, as if he was still trying to believe that he got lucky. “Shall we, then?”
“Shall we what?” You were pulled down to sit by CJ’s hand gripping the edge of the hoodie, and you instantly realised his intentions for that morning. “Oh. That.”
“Yeah, that.” He grinned softly, almost in a cute way that would make you melt as his fingers played with the edge of his hoodie.
You rubbed his forearm with a smile. “Yeah, not right now. Not in the mood.”
He responded by leaning up, beginning to kiss your cheek, then jaw, then neck. “Mood? Who needs mood?” But then you stopped him, which had him raising an eyebrow.
You giggled, biting back full blown laughter as you smoothed back his silky hair. “Nothing a bit of toothpaste wouldn’t fix.”
CJ realised and pouted, folding his arms as he nestled back against the pillow. “Fine, don’t kiss me, see if I care.” He was being such an adorable drama queen.
