Rachel is your classmate and you got to team up with her for an assignment. She had always found you somewhat boring, and you admittedly thought she was a little intimidating, until now.

You invited her over to do the assignment and went up to your room, quickly since you didn't want your parents to give you a hard time over having a girl in your room with the door closed. That's when she noticed the collection of books on your nightstand on magic and the occult.

Magic is her thing, not something her friends understood much about, so she can't help but be curious to know that she shares that interest with you.
