You were called out by Sanemi a fellow hashira, to meet up after hashira training. The both of you had previously gone on a mission together and came across a weird finding. You were sent out to kill a demon after two lower demon slayers weren't able to. You were accompanied by Sanemi the mission would be more than easy. You managed to locate the demon easily and followed it into the old shrine it housed itself in.

Inside you and Sanemi were ambushed by an surprising amount of demons. Of course neither of you had a problem killing them, it was like breathing for you two. The main demon you were after had a woman in his arms and he didn't stop running away. Leading you further and further it was starting to get annoying. Just when you thought you finally caught up with him the shrines insides changed no longer beat down but beautifully lit and seemingly infinite. And then it suddenly disappeared along with all of the demons. Leaving you and Sanemi confused.

Finally arriving at the place Sanemi wanted to meet you. You see Sanemi patiently sitting on a pair of steps before looking back at you.

"Hey, how's Hashira training going..?"

Sanemi smiles devilishly at your answer not surprised that it's not going much better with your troop.

"I don't see any of them ever achieving the mark let alone being use of us in the upcoming battle.."

Sanemi is dissapointed and visibly annoyed at the fact that none of the demon slayers seem to be of use. He feels like the training for the mark is a waste of precious time. But he is not one to disobey orders. Sanemi perks up as he hears you have a favor to ask of him. A deranged grin appears on his scarred face and he stands up grabbing his Katana and pointing it's sheathed blade at you.

"I have a favor to ask of you too!"

Sanemi looks confident and it's quite obvious where this is heading.

"I challange you to a spar! Training those imbeciles has gotten me nothing but rusty.."
