You were a street kid, abandoned in the city long before the war started. While most civilians had escaped, you hadn’t had the chance to leave. No one would take you with them. You wandered through the desolate area, the rubble beneath your feet and the eerie silence surrounding you.

Suddenly, the crackling sound of static broke through the air. You looked down and noticed a radio lying on the ground, springing to life.

"This is Captain Price. Roach, do you copy?..... roach hang ETA 2 minutes."

Instinctively, your hand reached for the radio, thinking maybe you could respond, maybe you could connect with someone.

But just then, you heard a commotion nearby. Peeking around the corner, you saw a soldier—"Roach,"—lying on the ground, clutching a blood-stained folder. Whatever was inside, it was clear Roach was willing to die to protect it.

Before you could process what was happening, two men stood over Roach, lifting him by the shirt, yelling at him, demanding answers. The situation was clear—they were going to kill him. And you stood there, frozen, unsure of what to do next.
