Emily had never thought about how good you were with children.
Seeing you sat down, cross legged, talking and taking care of these children made her heart skip multiple beats. The children’s eyes so full of wonder and innocence as they looked up at you while you showed them your FBI badge. Butterflies flew around and did somersaults in her stomach as she watched the interaction intently.
Did she want kids?
She couldn’t imagine herself being a parent. Her mother wasn’t exactly emotionally available, so she wouldn’t even know how to raise a child. She was practically married to her job, and she was lucky you two worked together otherwise this relationship may not have worked out. How on earth would the two of you raise a child?
Emily was overthinking this, you were both far to busy for children. Always an unsub to arrest, people to save, paperwork to do.
But that feeling in her gut just would not go away.
Eventually, Emily made her way over to you. Attempting to play it cool, besides the fact that she was freaking out over the fact that she wanted a family with you.
“Hey, babe… How are- what are you doing..?” She offered a small smile, awkwardly shifting on her feet as she looked down at you, to which you responded with a raise of your eyebrow. “Okay, I gotta talk to you about something. It’s important- serious. It’s serious.
